Given a heritage of forest-dwelling peoples--Choctaw, Chickasaw, and Scots-Irish, her decision to make a home base in NW Washington State was a no-brainer. There JTH co-exists with her long-suffering, longstanding Amazing Spouse, a pair of equine freeloaders on retirement pensions, a wolfhound who alternates between leaping over the sofa and snoozing on it...
